The Montgomery County Historical Society is open to scheduled tours in March, with our regular tour season starting April 1st and ending December 1st.  Wednesday through Friday we are open to unscheduled tours from 1-4 PM, the last tour starting at 3:15 PM.  We are also open to unscheduled tours the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 11 AM to 4 PM, with the last tour starting at 3:15 PM.  While tours do not have to be pre-scheduled it is encouraged.

Lane Place is the Greek revival home of Senator Henry S. and Joanna Lane. Lane was a U.S. Representative, U.S. Senator and helped found the Republican Party.

The Speed Cabin, once a haven for runaway slaves, is located on the north side of the grounds.
