2023 Holiday Festivities in Montgomery County

Montgomery County turns up the twinkle for the holidays! Visit now through the end of the year and make Christmastime extra magical for your family. You might even get to share your wishes with Santa Claus and take a prized elfie selfie! Here we have listed all of the Christmas events, so you won’t miss a thing!
Now While Supplies Last
Get your freshly cut Christmas tree and greenery at Oak Hill Tree Farm in Crawfordsville. Select a pre-cut or cut your own tree. Bring your family and make lasting holiday memories. On December 1 and 6, they are even offering wreath making classes.
November 25 – December 9
See the inspiring and dazzlingly decorated trees at The Masonic Cornerstone Grand Hall & Events Center. Dates vary and there is a small admission charge.
Friday, December 1
17th Annual Holiday Tea & Fashion Show
This year’s theme is A Wintery Floral Fantasy. Hosted at the Elston Homestead, visitors may attend anytime between 3 – 6pm. The fashion show begins at 3:30pm, followed by live music and holiday treats.
Saturday, December 2
Waynetown Christmas at the Park
The lighting ceremony will begin at 6:30pm with live holiday music, followed by fireworks signaling the exciting arrival of Santa Claus. Finally, the displays will be set aglow. Cookies and donuts available.
Breakfast with Santa at Southmont High School
From 9am-1pm, share pancakes with the Man in Red, create a craft to take home and share your holiday wishes with Santa! Shop for gifts among the rows of vendors. Donations welcome.
Cookies with Santa at Simpler Times
Santa and cookies are a winning combination! Bring your wish list and visit with Santa and help yourself to a cookie…or two! The Santa stop will be from 10am-1pm.
Sunday, December 3
Christmas Parade – Home for Christmas
Join us in Historic Downtown Crawfordsville for the Christmas parade at 2pm. Floats! Festive cars & trucks! VIPs including Santa himself!
Saturday, December 9
Shop for homemade and one-of-a-kind gifts at the Holly Jolly Market at the North Montgomery High School Fieldhouse. Open from 10am-3pm.
Bring your camera or smartphone and get an elfie selfie with the ultimate Elf in Red! Meet Santa Claus at the Carnegie Museum from 2:30-4:30pm. Other holiday activities will be available. Admission is free.
Monday, December 11
The holidays are for adults too! Backstep Brewing Co will host an evening of holiday singing and an abundance of cheer. Bring your friends for this evening of goodwill.
Sunday, December 17
Santa is coming to Francis & Mount
Francis & Mount will roll out the red carpet for Santa Claus from 2-4pm. Families will receive cookies, hot chocolate and special surprises. No purchase necessary.
